All of our Centipedes were eager to take a turn creating beautiful paper menorahs this morning during class time. The preschoolers had to rely on many different skills and abilities to create their beautiful masterpeices.
Grace used her math skills to count out nine candles and flames for her menorah. She also used critical thinking skills to determine how much space to leave between each candle and how much glue to use.
Alena found the gluing part of the project to be a sticky sensory experience. It's not easy for small hands to hold the paper steady, brush glue on, and flip the paper over but she was determined to do the project all on her own.
