Zoe was delighted to find that Layla had left her mechanical puppy in the Beetle play room. He barks, pants, snores, and makes chomping noises when you give him a bone, just like a real puppy. Zoe carried him around, cradled him, fed him his bone, and smiled.
Chloe wore the construction goggles as she played. She concentrated on putting a chain of pegs together. First she used the base to hold the pegs up but she soon discovered she make her tower taller if she held it in her hand.
Katy spent time stacking multiple peg towers and then pulling them apart, stacking them again, and then pulling them apart. Toddlers love repetition.
All of the Beetles wanted to sit in the waiting spot, just like the big kids do before we headed up to the buggy for a neighborhood walk.
Grant loved the yummy gluten free bread that we bought at Great Harvest Bread Company on our walk. Jena loves having Great Harvest is so close and that they have such an awesome selection.
Chloe made Wiley laugh and smile from his perch in the buggy. She held his hand as we walked along and they both laughed.
