Dramatic Play

The Beetles had a great time this morning having the place all to themselves.

They worked on their top secret presents for their Moms and Dads and then explored other roles that would be fun to play. 

Katy, Wiley, and Zoe are growing up so fast.  They are learning and developing their social skills and exploring how their world works.  The play kitchen is often a favorite place to gather and 'play' because it is also activities that they see happening and they are exploring how they work. 

Wiley sits at the table using the shakers and the tea pot just as he he probably sees his parents, friends, and people that he visits or sees in a restaurant do.

Katy can often be found 'making' something in the kitchen, 'adding' things into her bowls and cups.

Zoe finishes her 'snack' and tries out the rancher hat to see how it feels and looks.

Katy sports the hard hat and camera... two things she sees a lot.  Family and teachers using the camera and construction works wearing their hats.

Wiley tries on different hats seeing how he likes them.

Zoe takes care of her baby doll, giving her a pillow and a blanket to tuck her in for nap. 

The Beetles are entering the world of dramatic play little by little exploring the roles around them and seeing how they like wearing the different "hats" around them.
