We are Growing Up!

The Cenitpedes are all growing up and becoming great helpers, they love showing how capable they are.  In Circle time, they looked at our growth book and talked about how they have grown up and all the things they can do that they couldn't do when they were babies.

 

After Circle, Lena helped clean up all the lily pads, she knows what needs to be done and takes charge to help take care of her classroom.

Kaya and Anna Lee helped set out the water bottles for lunch.  They looked at the letters for their friends names and talked about where they should sit.

 



Eva was excited to set the table and set up all the chairs for lunch, she knows that each chair needs a plate and spoon without much oversight.

The Centipedes helped put the clean sheets on the nap matson... a task that they do every Monday as part of their regular routine to help out around school.
 Lena and Myla match up all the blankets to their corresponding mats. 

They laid the blankets out to make nice beds for everyone, giving them extra speical care.

During Class time they used the blocks to help measure our height to see how as we get older, we grow and get taller.   Saige, who is our oldest today was also our tallest, she is 22 blocks tall.



Later on, as they worked together to build a tower during class time, Saige was asked to put on the top cylindar because Myla realized that she could reach much higher than her.
