Layla received a really cool new board game for her birthday and was happy to share it with her Centipede friends today. Jennifer hid a little sock monkey somewhere in the school this morning. The kids worked together drawing cards that asked questions like, Is the monkey in a room that has a sink? or Is the monkey in a room where books are kept?
The preschoolers used their critical thinking skills to use their clues and figure out where the monkey might be hiding. When someone draws the "Go and Seek!" card, the group has one minute on the timer to search for the monkey. If they don't find him in one minute, they come back for more clues.
It was a lot of fun for the preschoolers to try and figure out which room the monkey was hiding in and then find him.
