Toddler Playtime at The Kenney Home

It is always heartwarming to see our toddlers and preschoolers interact with our elderly neighbors down the street at the Kenney Home. As we were leaving today we overheard one of our good friends, Millie, as she was talking to one of our favorite aides, Logan.

Millie- "Those kids sure are something else, aren't they?"
Logan- "Yes, they are really fun. Do you have a nice time?"
Millie- "Absolutely. It will be the best part of my day."

This is our friend, Betty, blowing bubbles with Ava this morning. Betty is a retired teacher and loves spending time with the toddlers and preschoolers at Tiny Tribe. Ava really wanted to blow bubbles all by herself. Betty spent time with Ava showing her how to put her wand in the bubbles and how to hold it a away from her mouth to blow.

By the time our play hour ended, Ava had figured out how to blow bubbles and was happily blowing bubbles with Betty. Betty said to me, "I just love watching their little minds work, don't you?"
